Ex Triad Gangsters Prayer Meeting

I was reached out by a former active gangster involved with the Chinese Triads from my home town in Penang Malaysia. He came across my testimony that was shared by Delafe Testimony’s, and shared with me that he recently got saved. This individual actually had gang rivalry with guys who were directly under my past leadership. As we communicated, we realized that we knew a lot of the same people on a personal level in the secret societies.

We also shared back and forth about the faithfulness of God, and his divine intervention and where he brought us from. We felt it necessary to schedule a day where we could pray and intercede for the Penang gangs. We also called in a few others who were previous triad members who also gave their lives to Jesus who we knew of.

6 people joined the zoom prayer meeting, and within those 6 people, 3 were previous Traid members and 1 is in the process of trying to come out. It was a powerful prayer meeting, and a very significant moment because I never thought I would ever pray with previous gang members who were from my city. Let alone that all 4 of us were from different Triad groups. This was very encouraging and shows that Jesus breaks the walls of hostility, as Jesus said Mat 10:36 “A man’s enemy’s will be the members of his own household.” The prayer time focused on revival and salvation to take place within the gangs, that the gangsters would encounter Jesus in a powerful way, and that the power of God will pour on Penang Malaysia like never seen before in history.

We are planning to have a few more prayer meetings.

Prayer request: please pray for the gangs in Penang Malaysia, this place has strong gang presence and it is a strong hold in the city. This is not only among the youth but these Traid groups are multi generational. Pray also for the individual who was in the prayer meeting (name is omitted) who is trying to find a way to come out of the triad he is currently with. Pray that God will grant him favor and divine protection with the leaders of the gang and grace for his transition into a new way of life. Pray for salvation for the leaders in the gangs because they have huge influence in the city.
